I just turned a small paper bag wrong side out. It’s the one my cough medicine came in. I might want to use it as a lunch bag and didn’t want to have the pharmacy data on the outside.
While in the process, I was thinking that this does not seem a normal thing to do. Is this what happens to old people like me?
I think it’s a very reasonable thing to do, no matter what your age. Better a lunch bag than a layer in a landfill.
It could be something that happens to old people or it could also be something that happens to people who spent a lot of time around Great Grandma Kramar. Every time I drink out of a mason jar or old mayonnaise jar I can’t help but think of her.
Speaking of mayonnaise, I’ll never forget the time Great Uncle Steve was over at our house rummaging through the refrigerator for something to eat and we didn’t have much so he just made a sandwich with an inch of mayo spread on each side and a tiny cherry tomato that had been neglected and he found it lost in the corner of produce bin. To be fair, I think he added some salt and pepper too. =)
